
Perdue Farms Strengthens Leadership Team with Three Senior Vice President Appointments

Salisbury, Md. (September 12, 2025) – Perdue Farms, a fourth-generation, family-owned U.S. food and agricultural products company, today announced the appointments of three accomplished executives to its senior leadership team: Kim Poe as Senior Vice President, Strategy & Corporate Development; Sal Gala as Senior Vice President, Procurement; and Brice Westring as Senior Vice President, Research & Development (R&D).
The appointments underscore Perdue Farms’ commitment to bringing in diverse talent and leadership experience that will guide the company into its second century and advance its vision to be the most trusted name in food and agricultural products ®.

Kim Poe – SVP, Strategy & Corporate Development
Reporting to Kevin McAdams, Chief Executive Officer, Poe will lead Perdue Farms’ enterprise growth strategy and guide long-term planning to support sustainable growth and innovation. She brings more than 20 years of leadership in strategy, operations, and transformation across consumer-packaged goods, retail, and manufacturing. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Business Excellence and Global PMO at Kidde Global Solutions, and previously held leadership roles at Carrier, Georgia-Pacific, and Academy Sports & Outdoors building expertise across manufacturing, retail, and consumer products. After completing her MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania she worked at McKinsey & Company, advising food and beverage companies on growth, portfolio, and marketing strategies. She began her career at Dell Computers as a Systems Test Engineer. She also holds a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia.
Sal Gala – SVP, Procurement
Reporting to Gregg Uecker, Chief Supply Chain & Operations Officer, Gala will oversee Perdue Farms’ procurement organization, with a focus on building strong supplier partnerships, improving processes, and driving long-term value across the company’s supply chain. He has held senior procurement and supply chain leadership roles at McCormick, Mars, and Goodyear, managing sourcing and operations on a global scale. He earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar in Venezuela and an MBA in Supply Chain and Corporate Finance from Penn State University.
Brice Westring – SVP, Research & Development
Reporting to Todd Tillemans, Chief Commercial Officer, Westring will lead Perdue Farms’ R&D organization, continuing its role as a driver of innovation and product leadership in protein. He joins from Mondelez International, where he served as Vice President of R&D, North America, responsible for more than $9 billion in sales and leading organizational transformation. Prior to Mondelez, he spent over 20 years at Procter & Gamble in senior R&D leadership roles across multiple categories delivering consumer centric innovation and building winning organizations. He holds an M.S. in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
