August 20, 2025

KEASBEY, NJ and SALISBURY, MD (August 20, 2025) – ShopRite and Perdue Foods are bringing even more No Antibiotics Ever (NAE) fresh prepared chicken offerings to ShopRite stores. The collaboration between Perdue and ShopRite’s private label Bowl & Basket line means customers can find top-quality, ready-to-eat NAE rotisserie chicken, roasted Oven-Stuffer® chickens, whole roaster breast, fried chicken, chicken wings and chicken tenders at ShopRite stores. Special, limited-time flavors are also available and include the new Pollo Asado Rotisserie Chicken, slow-roasted in a signature blend of Latin spices to provide a restaurant quality meal experience at home.

“We know customers are looking for convenient, better-for-you options for mealtime without sacrificing great taste,” said Mark Van Buskirk, Group Vice President of Fresh for Wakefern Food Corp., the supermarket cooperative and merchandising and distribution arm for ShopRite stores. “That’s why we are excited to offer our co-branded Bowl & Basket and Perdue prepared chicken that meets highest quality standards and is free from antibiotics and full of flavor.”

The co-branded campaign highlights chicken that is raised on family farms and with no antibiotics ever. Shoppers can find the co-branded, grab-and-go chicken in the fresh prepared-foods department at many ShopRite stores. The prepared-foods chicken area will also feature co-branded, limited-time-only and seasonally-driven flavors like slow-roasted Pollo Asado Rotisserie Chicken, Korean Barbecue, Nashville Hot, and other specialty items throughout the year.

"For more than 105 years, Perdue's fourth generation, family-owned brand has continued to innovate and evolve our products to fit into any lifestyle,” said John Moore, Senior Marketing Manager at Perdue Foods. “The grab-and-go convenience of our co-branded chicken dishes means spending less time on prep and more time gathered around a delicious, affordable and nutritious meal with loved ones, something we know is especially helpful to consumers as kids get back to school and families get back to routine this fall."
